Usage & Directions
Take 10 ml daily, neat or in liquid (e.g. juice or water). Optimal temperature between +2 and +21 °C – briefly the product also withstands more extreme temperatures. After opening, store in the fridge and use within 6 weeks. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.

10 ml provide 1000 mg Vollagen® and 200 mg vitamin C, which is 250 % of the nutrient reference value for vitamin C. One 250 ml bottle lasts for 25 daily doses. You can take the liposomal collagen neat or stir it into water or juice; the time of day is up to you. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Vegan Collagen Support is a vegan amino acid complex packed into liposomes. Liposomes are microscopically small vesicles made of phospholipids – the same building blocks that make up the membranes of your body's cells. This shell protects the ingredients on their way through the stomach and gut.
Classic collagen comes from animal sources such as beef or fish. Vegan Collagen Support contains Vollagen® instead: a vegan amino acid complex that replicates the amino acid profile of collagen. Liposomal vegan collagen vs. animal collagen: the difference
Collagen is a protein made up of many amino acids; there are more than 20 different types. Animal collagen is first broken down into amino acids and small fragments in the digestive tract before the body can use it. Vollagen® provides these amino acids directly, in the ratio in which they occur in collagen, and entirely without animal raw materials.

Ingredients of Vegan Collagen Support 1000: what's inside and why
- Vollagen® (1000 mg per daily dose): a vegan amino acid complex that replicates the amino acid profile of collagen.
- Phospholipids from sunflowers (1300 mg per daily dose): form the liposomes in which the amino acids are packed. They are sourced from the EU.
- Sodium L-ascorbate: provides 200 mg vitamin C per daily dose.
- Water, glycerol, sea buckthorn extract, malic acid and rosemary extract: water and glycerol as the carrier liquid, sea buckthorn as a plant-based addition, malic acid as an acidifier, rosemary extract as an antioxidant.
The product is vegan and contains no added flavourings.

Liposomes are tiny vesicles made of phospholipids that are stable in liquid. That is why we offer liposomal collagen as a liquid. You take it by the spoonful or stir it into a drink.
How much liposomal collagen per day makes sense?
The recommended intake is 10 ml per day. That is about 2 teaspoons and 1000 mg Vollagen® plus 200 mg vitamin C. One 250 ml bottle lasts 25 days. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Which amino acids are in liposomal collagen?
Vollagen® replicates the complete amino acid profile of collagen. This includes glycine and proline, among others, which are particularly abundant in collagen.

Yes, our Vegan Collagen Support is also suitable for children, but at a reduced dose: 2.5 ml per day for children aged 1 to 4, 5 ml for ages 5 to 8 and 7.5 ml for ages 9 to 12. For children aged 4 and over there is also our dedicated All-in-One for kids.
Does liposomal collagen have side effects, and who should not take it?
Our Vegan Collagen Support is designed to be well tolerated. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or take medication regularly, consult a doctor before taking it.
How long does liposomal collagen keep after opening?
After opening, keep the bottle in the fridge and use it up within 6 weeks. Unopened, it is best stored between +2 and +21 °C.
