Hyaluronic acid is a compound produced naturally by the body that is found in the skin, joints, and connective tissue. It binds water and belongs to the polysaccharide group. ActiNovo's liposomal hyaluronic acid comes from a natural vegan source obtained through plant fermentation.
Due to legal requirements, we are not permitted to provide detailed information about the effects of the ingredients here. For this reason, you will find little or no information about the effects on the body for some products. We recommend that you consult independent sources for information about the properties of specific substances.
What makes this product special is its focus on bioavailability through the well-researched drug delivery system “liposome.” Liposomes have proven to be effective carrier systems that transport substances to specific target locations while overcoming natural barriers. In this case, they enable hyaluronic acid to be absorbed into the bloodstream via oral administration, bypassing the selective mechanisms of our digestive system.
We currently have no studies commissioned by us on hyaluronic acid, so we cannot directly prove its exact influence on bioavailability. However, we have commissioned several studies on other substances (see section “About liposomes”), all of which demonstrate a significant increase in bioavailability.
It is therefore logical to conclude that this product also has an effect on bioavailability. It is scientifically recognized that liposomes—provided they
a) are available in sufficient quantities
b) retain their intact form, and
c) contain the substance as an active ingredient load

You can imagine liposomes as small (lipid) vesicles made of the same material as our human cell membrane. What does bioavailability mean?
