Usage & Directions
Take 10 ml daily, neat or in liquid (e.g. juice or water). Optimal temperature between +2 and +21 °C – briefly the product also withstands more extreme temperatures. After opening, store in the fridge and use within 6 weeks. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.
Dosage and intake of biotin and zinc for hair
10 ml provide 500 µg biotin, 20 mg zinc, 400 µg folate, 4 µg vitamin B12 and 450 mg vitamin C, plus 200 mg L-lysine and 70 mg bamboo extract. One 250 ml bottle lasts for 25 daily doses. You can take Hair Support neat or stir it into water or juice; the time of day is up to you. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Biotin and zinc for hair: what is Hair Support?
Hair Support is a liquid food supplement with biotin, zinc and other nutrients for the hair, packed into liposomes. Liposomes are microscopically small vesicles made of phospholipids – the same building blocks that make up the membranes of your body's cells. This shell protects the ingredients on their way through the stomach and gut.
In addition to biotin and zinc, Hair Support contains the amino acid L-lysine, bamboo extract, folate, vitamin B12 and vitamin C. More about liposomes →
Liquid hair vitamins vs. capsules: the difference
Hair vitamins usually come as capsules or tablets. In Hair Support, the nutrients are embedded in liposomes made of sunflower phospholipids. You take it by the spoonful, without having to swallow capsules.

- Biotin (500 µg) and zinc (20 mg): both contribute to the maintenance of normal hair.
- Folate (400 µg), vitamin B12 (4 µg) and vitamin C (450 mg): folate, vitamin B12 and zinc have a role in the process of cell division.
- L-lysine (200 mg) and bamboo extract (70 mg): an amino acid and a plant extract.
- Phospholipids from sunflowers (1300 mg per daily dose): form the liposomes in which the nutrients are packed. They are sourced from the EU.
- Water, glycerol, sea buckthorn extract, malic acid and rosemary extract: water and glycerol as the carrier liquid, sea buckthorn as a plant-based addition, malic acid as an acidifier, rosemary extract as an antioxidant.
The product is vegan and contains apricot flavouring.

Which vitamins are good for hair?
For two nutrients this is proven and authorised: biotin and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal hair. Hair Support contains both, plus folate, vitamin B12, vitamin C, L-lysine and bamboo extract.
How much biotin per day makes sense for hair?
Hair Support provides 500 µg biotin per daily dose, which is 1000 % of the nutrient reference value. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has not set an upper limit for biotin.
How long does it take to notice anything in your hair?
Hair grows slowly, on average about one centimetre per month. We are neither allowed nor able to promise a specific effect or time frame. Hair loss can have many causes; have it checked by a doctor if it persists.
Liquid biotin and zinc or capsules: what is the difference?
Liposomes are tiny vesicles made of phospholipids that are stable in liquid. That is why we offer Hair Support as a liquid. You take it by the spoonful or stir it into a drink.
How much Hair Support per day makes sense?
The recommended intake is 10 ml per day, which is about 2 teaspoons. One 250 ml bottle lasts 25 days. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Can I combine Hair Support with other zinc products?
Hair Support provides 20 mg zinc per daily dose. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) sets 25 mg zinc per day as the upper limit for total intake in adults. Therefore, do not combine Hair Support with other products containing zinc.
When and how do I take Hair Support?
You can take the 10 ml neat or stir them into water or juice. The time of day is up to you.
Who should not take Hair Support?
Because of its zinc content, Hair Support is intended for adults. High-dose biotin can distort certain laboratory values; so before a blood test, let them know that you are taking biotin. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or take medication regularly, consult a doctor before taking it.
How long does Hair Support keep after opening?
After opening, keep the bottle in the fridge and use it up within 6 weeks. Unopened, it is best stored between +2 and +21 °C.
